Tour Bus Crashes in California

Less than a week after a tour bus accident in California killed five people, another tour bus has crashed. The most recent bus accident occurred in Southern California on Saturday after the bus hit a freeway divider south of Los Angeles near the town of Perris.

All 25 people aboard the tour bus were injured. Six passengers sitting at the back of the bus were trapped and needed to be extracted by emergency personnel. Eight of the 25 are in critical condition and the other 20 had moderate injuries. The accident shut down the highway for hours.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. However, authorities have said the travelers are from the town of Colton and had gone to San Diego for a Cinco de Mayo festival. They were returning home at the time of the accident.

Both this accident and the accident in Soledad, California last week are only similar in that they were both tour buses. It is unknown if these accidents were the result of driver error, mechanical malfunction, or something else.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a bus accident, please contact an experienced personal injury lawyer in your area.
